Next Generation Maruti Celerio Design Leaked Through Patent Images

The internet world is now loaded with the patent images of the much-awaited new-gen Maruti Celerio. One can notice the design details of the car, and the car is scheduled to be launched before Diwali 2021.

The new-gen Maruti Celerio is very much related to the Wagon R, S-Presso, and the Swift. The revealed patent images of the Celerio clearly show the design dynamics of the car and the new-gen Celerio will now be bigger as we can notice in the patent images.

As in the current Maruti Celerio, the new-gen Celerio will not have sharp design edges rather it will come with a more rounded design. Moreover, the car will have the same front fascia and will have some design elements from the Maruti Baleno. The front grille got some polishing and restyling and the headlights can be seen connected with a thin strip that also houses the brand’s logo.

Talking about the bumper, the design of the front bumper is brushed up as it now features fog lamp housing, air dams, and visible creases. Coming to the rear section of the car, you will notice a re-styled new bumper and a new tailgate. The top variants will now feature new 14-inch alloys.

If we talk about the interior of this car, the car will be seen with new dashboard design with a 7-inch Smartplay Studio infotainment system that will support smart iterations like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top variant of the car will get a multi-functional steering wheel and the car will have other features such as a semi-digital instrument console, power windows, automatic AC, and many more in the box.

This car will be seen with a 1.2-L K12 petrol engine which we can see in the Maruti Wagon R. The engine is very much capable of pumping out 82bhp and 113nm of torque. The car will offer a 5-speed manual and an AMT. The hatchback will also offer the existing 1.0-L 3-cylinder K10 petrol engine that churns out 67bhp of power and 90Nm of torque.
