2020 Hyundai Creta Next-Gen Unveiled, Launch in March

2020 Hyundai Creta will be launched in the Indian market by March this year. The Next-Gen Creta was unveiled in Auto Expo 2020.

Hyundai just revealed its all new Creta in Auto Expo 2020.The all new 2020 Hyundai Creta will replace its current version in India and will be launched in March. Internationally, the Creta is known as the iX25 and the next-gen made its debut in the Chinese market recently.

The 2020 Hyundai Creta will be powered by Kia’s BS6 Complaint 1.5-Litre Petrol and Diesel engines which are also used in the Kia Seltos. A third engine, a petrol powered 1.4-Litre turbo GDI engine mated to an optional 7-Speed DCT gearbox is also expected to be available with the 2020 Hyundai Creta. The other two engines will come mated to a 6-speed MT or a 6-Speed AT gearbox.

The Body line of the new-Creta looks smart from the sides and resembles the outgoing model.

The 2020 Hyundai Creta is based on the similar platform which also underpins the Kia Seltos. The new 2020 Creta comes with features such as a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps and tail lamps, Blue Link 1.5 associated vehicle tech, refreshed interiors and new alloy wheel design.

The 2020 Hyundai Next-Gen Creta unveiled at the auto expo boasts premium all-dark interiors highlighting refreshed interiors and a re-designed centre console. The new-gen Hyundai Creta will get a bigger 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The screen will see a design in picture mode and will likewise combine up with Hyundai’s Blue Link associated vehicle application and telematics arrangement. The Creta will also feature an eSIM or installed sim card to provide all the features including crisis reaction and attendant services.

From the rear, the Creta looks completely new and looks attractive.

On the safety front, the 2020 Hyundai Creta will come with features such as 6-airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors and a number of other features such as seat belt reminder and ISOFIX latches.

While the base variant will be priced just under INR 10 lakh, it is expected the top-spec model of the 2020 Hyundai Creta will be priced at around Rs 17 lakh (all prices, Ex-showroom, New Delhi). It will rival against the likes of Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier.
