TVS has updated the XL 100 with a new BS6 engine.
The TVS XL 100 BS6 has been launched in the Indian market ahead of the BS6 emission laws implementation in the country. Regarded as one of the highest selling two-wheeler in the market, the XL 100 has always been the most affordable and capable two-wheeler in the country.
The TVS XL 100 BS6 will be powered by a 99.7cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel injected engine that produces 4.4 PS @ 6,000 RPM and 6.5 Nm @ 3500 RPM. This 99.7cc engine is mated to a single speed gearbox.
The 2020 TVS XL 100 BS6 is priced from RS 42,362 (ex-showroom) for the base variant, the XL 100 Heavy Duty i-TouchStart. The company claims that the new XL 100 BS6 comes with smoother performance, better throttle response and upto 15% better fuel efficiency compared to the outgoing BS4 model.
