Jeep India has officially launched the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler in the Indian market. This new vehicle will be locally assembled and will be brought in the country via the CKD (completely knocked down route). Just like before, the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler will be available in two trim options – Unlimited and Rubicon. The main focus of the brand was to reduce the cost of the Wrangler and since then they are continuously focusing on bringing more and more products under the CKD (completely knocked down) route rather than importing them as a whole. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler price starts from Rs 53.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
If we talk about the technical specifications of the Jeep Wrangler, the package remains almost similar. You will see an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an internet connection and smart features by the UConnect 4C NAV system. The infotainment will support both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features which you will be seeing in this car are a push-button start, multiple 12v sockets, dual-zone automatic climate control, USB ports, passive keyless entry.

Jumping onto the mechanical specifications, this car is powered by a 2.0-liter high-power turbo petrol engine which can easily churn out 268 bhp of maximum power at 5250 rpm and 400 Nm of peak torque at 3000 rpm. This car is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and also gets a 4WD system as it is a proper off-roader.
As the pre-bookings have started for the 2021 Jeep Wrangler, people who are interested can check the dealerships near to them to book this car. The Assembly of this car started at the Jeep’s Ranjangaon Pune facility a few weeks back. After the Compass and the Wrangler, the brand is planning to begin local operations for the Grand Cherokee too. The brand invested over INR 1,827 Cr for the production of the four-model line-up by the year 2022.
