Aston Martin DBX Price Starts From Rs Rs 3.82 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Aston Martin DBX is the first SUV to be ever produced by the British carmaker in their 108 years of car making. Powered by a 4.0-L twin-turbo V8, the DBX is offered as a fun-to-drive SUV which also offers supreme levels of luxury and challenges its rivals like the Bentley Bentayga and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Eleven units of the Aston Martin DBX have been allotted for the Indian market while Aston Martin DBX price starts from Rs 3.82 crore (ex-showroom) with optional add-ons costing extra.

For starters, the Aston Martin DBX is powered by the same Mercedes AMG sourced engine that also powers other cars in the brand’s line-up. The power output from this engine in the DBX stands at 550 hp while the peak torque output is claimed to be 700 Nm. This engine comes mated to a nine-speed torque converter unit which channels power to all four wheels via the rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. The car does a 0-100 kmph run in just 4.5 secs while the top speed is claimed to be well over 290 kmph. The car also comes with cylinder deactivation tech that shuts off one bank of cylinders at slow speeds to enhance fuel economy and make the vehicle more practical for everyday usage.

Moving on, the DBX gets a bold and an aggressive front facia with understated elegance. Upfront, the car gets typical Aston martin style DB grille with sleek headlamps towards the sides. The DRLs sit below the main headlamps while the air-vents are located right in the centre of the DRLs. It is worth noting that the DBX has the biggest grille and the brand logo to be ever fitted on any Aston Martin. Move to the sides and you will realise that the DBX has clean lines all over while the 22-inch alloy wheels look extremely elegant and complement the overall look of the car. The frameless doors and a sloping roof-line complement the overall design really well. The rear of the Aston Martin DBX gets smart LED taillights while the logo and the branding find its place in the centre. The bumper lower down gets twin-exhaust setup with a glossy black finish on the diffuser.

On the features front, the car gets a 10.25-inch digital infotainment system that offers Apple Carplay and 360-degree camera as standard. In addition to this, the car gets a fully digital instrument console that has a 12.3-inch TFT screen while it also offers a large panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting. The DBX is one of the most spacious cars in the segment and has a 632-litre boot capacity which can be further increased by folding the rear seats which come with 40:20:40 split fold for added flexibility. The car also gets air suspension and a 48-volt anti-roll system to control this mighty beast which weighs a little over 2.2 tonnes.
