The Aston Martin DBX is the first SUV to be ever produced by the British carmaker in their 108 years of car making. Powered by a 4.0-L twin-turbo V8, the DBX is offered as a fun-to-drive SUV which also offers supreme levels of luxury and challenges its rivals like the Bentley Bentayga and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Eleven units of the Aston Martin DBX have been allotted for the Indian market while Aston Martin DBX price starts from Rs 3.82 crore (ex-showroom) with optional add-ons costing extra.

For starters, the Aston Martin DBX is powered by the same Mercedes AMG sourced engine that also powers other cars in the brand’s line-up. The power output from this engine in the DBX stands at 550 hp while the peak torque output is claimed to be 700 Nm. This engine comes mated to a nine-speed torque converter unit which channels power to all four wheels via the rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. The frameless doors and a sloping roof-line complement the overall design really well. The bumper lower down gets twin-exhaust setup with a glossy black finish on the diffuser.

On the features front, the car gets a 10.25-inch digital infotainment system that offers Apple Carplay and 360-degree camera as standard. In addition to this, the car gets a fully digital instrument console that has a 12.3-inch TFT screen while it also offers a large panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting. The DBX is one of the most spacious cars in the segment and has a 632-litre boot capacity which can be further increased by folding the rear seats which come with 40:20:40 split fold for added flexibility.
