The Citroen C3 is expected to be offered with two engine options – 1.2L NA petrol and 1.2L turbo petrol. The naturally aspirated unit will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while the turbo will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. No automatic gearboxes are on offer for the buyers.

The Tata Punch is only available with a 1.2L Revotron naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine that churns out 86hp and 113Nm of peak torque output. This engine in India is available with a 5-speed manual or with a 5-speed AMT transmission option. No turbocharged iteration is on sale currently but we do expect Tata to launch the Punch Turbo and Punch CNG in India in the coming months.
