MY2023 Hyundai Alcazar To Get New Turbo Engine
Hyundai India recently confirmed that the new MY2023 Hyundai Alcazar will soon be making its debut in the Indian market and will be offered with a number of updates including revised front styling and updated powertrain options. For starters, the new Alcazar will now be offered with a new front grille design that enhances the bold looks of this 7-seater SUV. It will also get a new puddle lamp logo that will feature the ALCAZAR emblem. Furthermore, the Korean carmaker is now offering the new Alcazar with 6-Airbags as standard (Driver, Passenger, Side & Curtain), while also introducing Idle Stop & Go feature as stock fitment, thereby enhancing the convenience quotient of this SUV.

For those wondering, the new Alcazar will now be offered with two engine options – 1.5L Turbo Petrol and 1.5L Diesel. Both these engines are RDE compliant. The peak power and torque output by the 1.5L TGDi engine stands at 160 PS while the peak torque stands at 253 Nm. This engine is offered with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and a 6-speed manual gearbox option for the buyers. The diesel on the other hand delivers a peak power output of 116 PS and a maximum torque output of 250Nm.
