It is no secret to anyone that the new 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio BS6 is all set to hit the showrooms and the brand is planning to launch the vehicle in September 2021. Exterior Design
Unlike the present boxy design, the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio will feature more curves and a more elegant design language. The car will also be bigger in dimensions when compared to the outgoing model. Apart from this, the car retains the pull-type door handles which now look dated. The test mule features steel wheels which suggests that the vehicle may not be available with alloy wheels.

Features
The new Maruti Celerio will be available with a number of features that also include a smart infotainment touchscreen system, digital MID, steering mounted controls, etc. The SmartPlay Studio infotainment system will come equipped with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth Connectivity, Navigation, etc. Apart from this, the car also gets a rear defroster, rear wiper, central locking, and power windows.
Engine and Gearbox
The 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be available with a 1.0-L three-cylinder petrol engine as standard. This engine churns out 67 Ps of peak power output while the maximum torque output stands at 91 Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox comes mated to this three-pot engine as standard while an AMT gearbox is also on offer. It is also believed that the higher trims of the new Celerio will additionally be available with a 1.2-L engine that delivers 83 PS. In addition to this, CNG-powered iterations will also be on offer.

Launch Date
As per the reports, the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be launched in the Indian market in the month of September this year. While the exact date is still unknown, it is believed that the car will be launched in the second or the third week.
2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio BS6 Price
The starting price of the 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio is expected to be somewhere around INR 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, the AMT line-up and the CNG line-up will be priced above INR 5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Stay Tuned for more updates.
