The new TVS Raider single seat is now the most affordable variant of the bike in India
With the competition in the market spicing up, TVS recently launched a new entry-level variant of the Raider in the Indian market. The new 2023 TVS Raider single seat price in India starts from Rs 93,719 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it significantly more affordable than the split seat and SmartXonnect variants. With the launch of this new version, buyers will now get three TVS Raider 125 trim options in the country. 2023 TVS Raider Single Seat Launched In India
The TVS Raider 125 is one of the most VFM bikes in the country and is not only offered as a feature-rich bike, but also boasts a refined powertrain and youthful styling. The bike takes on the rivals like the Honda Shine 125, Honda SP 125, Bajaj Pulsar 125, and the Hero Splendor Plus. The brand launched a new entry-level trim of the Raider in the Indian market recently to further make the bike more appealing to buyers.
The new TVS Raider single seat trim has now replaced the Raider Drum Brake variant which was earlier on sale in the country. Having said this, no changes have been made to the mechanicals of the bike and it continues to be powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a peak power and torque output of 11.4hp and 11.2Nm respectively.

Furthermore, the new 2023 TVS Raider single seat continues to be underpinned by the same single-downtube frame while the suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock setup at the rear. Needless to say, the braking system consists of a 240mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear.
