Hyundai has released the first set of teaser images of the next-Gen 2020 Hyundai i20. It is expected that the next-gen 2020 Hyundai i20 will be launched in the Indian markets in June 2020.
The sketches of the next-gen 2020 Hyundai i20 indicate that the car will retain the overall profile of the outgoing model. However the changes are clearly evident at the front as the new front-end looks sharper with more cuts and creases on the bumper. The new design gives the car an aggressive and sporty look. The cascading grille, which is Hyundai’s signature element in the modern Hyundai design language, also has a prominent presence at the front.
The interiors are yet to be released but we expect the carmaker to offer a feature rich interior layout with BlueLink Connected-car tech and a new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display. The quality of the materials used too is expected to remain premium and the car may get features such as push-button start, front and rear armrests, six airbags, wireless charging and much more.
The 2020 Hyundai i20 is expected to be powered by a standard 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine, a new 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, mated either to a manual gearbox or a DCT automatic.
The next-gen i20 will rival against the likes of MS Baleno, honda jazz, Ford Figo and Toyota Glanza. The newly launched Tata Altroz too will compete head on with the i20.
