2022 Honda City Hybrid Price Announced – Check All Details!

The 2022 Honda City is the most affordable hybrid car in India and takes on the rivals like Volkswagen Virtus and the Skoda Slavia.

The Honda City Hybrid price was recently announced by Honda in India. Available only in a single top-spec ZX variant, the 2022 Honda City e:HEV is priced at Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the bookings commenced a couple of weeks ago, the Honda City Hybrid deliveries will begin anytime now. Here are all the details that you should check out about the newly launched Honda City Hybrid e:HEV in India.

For starters, the Honda City Hybrid is around Rs 4.5 lakh more expensive when compared to the standard Honda City ZX CVT which is priced at Rs 15.03 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). For the extra price, the buyers will get an extremely smooth and fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain, additional safety tech, and some updated features. For those wondering, the new Honda City Hybrid boasts a claimed fuel economy figure of 26.5 kmpl and a real-life range of almost 1000 km.

Powering the Honda City is a 1.5-L Hybrid powertrain that churns out 126 hp and 253 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to an eCVT gearbox. Having said this, the new 2022 Honda City e:HEV is also offered with segment-first active safety features that include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and autonomous emergency braking. All these features are a part of the Honda Sensing Suite. In addition to this, the Honda City Hybrid also gets features like six airbags, ORVM mounted lane watch cameras, multi-angle rear camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, and more.

Other updates include some differentiating cosmetic changes like a blue outline of the Honda logos, a tailgate-mounted e:HEV badge, new fog light garnishes, a new diffuser design on the rear bumper and a boot lid spoiler. Inside, while the cabin layout remains similar, the car does get an updated 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new Honda City Hybrid takes on the rivals like the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, Hyundai Verna, and the Maruti Ciaz.
