The Kia Carens made its debut last year and ever since then, is one of the best-selling MPVs in the country and is offered with a feature-rich and comfortable cabin. The brand recently launched the updated iteration in India and here are all the details you should know about the new 2023 Kia Carens.

2023 Kia Carens Launched – Gets More Features And Power
To start with, the new Carens will now be offered with the new 1.5L turbo petrol engine which was recently introduced with the updated Alcazar in India. The same engine will be powering the new Verna in India and delivers peak power and torque output of 160 PS and 253 Nm respectively. This engine will only be offered with a 6-speed iMT gearbox or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

The Kia Carens diesel on the other hand will continue to be offered with 1.5L turbo petrol engine that delivers a peak power output of 115 PS and 250 Nm of maximum torque. The new 2023 Kia Carens diesel will however will only be offered with two gearbox options – 6-speed iMT and 6-speed At. As you would have understood by now, no manual gearbox will be on offer for the buyers.

Except this, the new Carens will also be offered with a number of standard features which will be offered across the line-up. These include a new 12.5-inch digital instrument console, connected car tech with Alexa support, etc. Moreover, the Prestige Plus variant will now be offered with a leather-wrapped gear knob, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, electric one-touch folding 2nd row seats, ventilated front seats, and an electric sunroof.
