Keeway K-Lite Cruiser To Launch On May 17 – Royal Enfield Rival!

Keeway will be making its Indian debut with the launch of the Keeway K-Lite Cruiser in the market to take on the rivals like the Royal Enfield, Jawa, and Yezdi.

Keeway is now all set to make its Indian debut and will be launching the K-Lite Cruiser bike in India on May 17, 2022. While Keeway traces its root in Hungary, the brand is currently owned by Chinese auto giant Qianjiang Group. The same group also owns Benelli. Having said this, here are all the details that you should be knowing about the new Royal Enfield rival in India.

Keeway is famous for its small cruisers, scooters, naked street bikes, and adventure tourers. Most of these are powered by 125cc engines while the design of most of the Keeway cruisers is inspired by Harley Davidson roadsters. The small sketch images of the bike on the invite suggest that the brand will be launching the K-Lite cruiser in the country to begin with. It is also believed that this bike could be powered by a 500cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is also seen on the Benelli 502c.

For those wondering, the Keeway Cruiser will feature a low-slung cruiser stance with a single-piece seat and a slim fuel tank that ends with a panel on each side. Falling in line with the retro theme, the Keeway Cruiser gets a round headlight and circular turn indicators at both ends. The flat tail section with split grab rails and a rear tyre hugger complements the character of the bike. The flat handlebar and mid-set footpegs offer comfortable riding ergonomics.

While we are awaiting more details, the brand is expected to import the bike into the country via the CKD route. The brand may also import the bike via the CBU route. The pricing too is expected to be at par with the segment standards.
