Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG Details Leaked – To Get Automatic

The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza will soon be launched with a CNG powertrain in the Indian market and will be one of the most practical and cheap-to-run SUVs in the country. The details of the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG recently surfaced online and here are all the details you should know about this upcoming CNG automatic SUV in India.

  • The new Brezza CNG will be the first CNG SUV in India to be offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit
  • It is likely to be offered in six variants
  • The Brezza CNG will be around Rs 80,000-1 lakh more expensive

Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG Details Leaked

The recently launched Maruti Brezza is one of the strongest offerings in the sub-4m compact SUV segment and gives stiff competition to the rivals like the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, and the Renault Kiger. The new-gen iteration of the SUV not only boasts updated underpinnings, but in addition to this, also gets a new exterior styling, updated cabin, and a long list of new features that are being offered with the new Brezza.

Having said this, the recently leaked detail about the upcoming Maruti Brezza CNG reveals that the new Brezza CNG will be offered with all the variant options including automatic trim options. It will be powered by a 1.5L K15 engine that is likely to deliver around 92 hp and 122 Nm of maximum torque in the CNG mode. The same engine in the petrol mode churns out a peak power and torque output of 105 hp and 138 Nm respectively.

Once launched, it will take on the rivals like the upcoming Tata Nexon CNG and the Kia Sonet CNG in the country. The Brezza is likely to be around Rs 95,000- 1lakh more expensive than the standard petrol variants.
