The 2020 Suzuki Intruder BS6 has been launched in the country and is priced from INR 1.20 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Just ahead of the implementation of the BS6 norms, Suzuki has launched the BS6 complaint Intruder in India. The BS6 model is priced at a premium of almost Rs. 20,000 more than the original carburetted BS4 bike, and around Rs 13,000 more than the fuel-injected BS4 version.
The 2020 Suzuki Intruder gets a new ignition system, exhaust system and a new ECU which has resulted in changed power and torque output numbers. The BS6 engine on the Suzuki Intruder makes 13.6 hp and 13.8 Nm. The outgoing BS4 engine however made 14.6 hp and 14 Nm of power and torque respectively.
The BS6 version of the Intruder is heavier by 3 Kg, thus increasing the total weight of the bike to 152 Kg. The Intruder BS6 is available with three colour options – Metallic Matte Black / Candy Sanoma Red, Glass Sparkle Black / Metallic Matte Titanium Silver and Metallic Matte Titanium Silver.
It is worth noting the fact that the Intruder has received one of the highest price hike in the segment that has occurred in the transition to meet the stringent emission norms.
