Renault recently confirmed that it is working on a number of new upcoming vehicles for the Indian market and is jointly working with Nissan to co-develop new localised platforms for these new SUVs and electric cars. The carmaker will also be launching the new 2024 Renault Duster new-gen SUV for buyers looking for a capable and premium mid-size SUV. 2024 Renault Duster Next-Gen – Top 5 Things
New Platform
For starters, the new-gen Duster will be underpinned by a new and heavily localised CMF-B modular platform. Both, Renault and Nissan are jointly working on this new platform and will be utilising this new modular architecture for a number of new upcoming vehicles. The upcoming 2024 Renault Duster new-gen iteration is also likely to grow up in size, all thanks to its new platform. On the design front, the new Duster is will take its styling cues from the Dacia Bigster concept and will boast a bold front grille with thin LED lamps at the front.

Powertrain Options
At the time of the launch, the new 2024 Renault Duster is likely to be offered only with ICE engine options which will be offered with both manual as well as automatic gearbox options. The brand however is also working on an all-electric powertrain for its new SUVs and might launch it with the Duster EV in India. More details about this new electric powertrain are yet to be known as it is still in its early stages of development.
Features
From what we know so far, the new-gen Duster will be offered with an extensive features list and a premium cabin. This new SUV is likely to be offered with features like a large touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, Auto Climate Contol, Push-Button Start, Auto-Dimming IRVM, Digital Instrument Console, Connected Car Tech, and Cooled Storage Consoles in addition to other features like wireless charging pad and sunroof. Needless to say, the Duster is also likely to be offered with long safety features and equipment list. Just like many of the rivals like the upcoming 2024 Hyundai Creta, the new Duster is also likely to be offered with advanced driver assistance features, 360-degree camera, cruise control, etc.

Seating Configurations
The new 2024 Duster new-gen is likely to be offered as a 5-seater SUV at the time of the launch but the brand is believed to be working on a 7-seater version as well which will make its debut soon after. The new Duster 7-Seater SUV, once launched, will take on the rivals like the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-Seater, Hyundai Alcazar, Kia Carens, etc.
Launch Timeline And Price
While the brand is yet to comment on the official timeline of the new 2024 Duster SUV in India, our sources tell us that it will officially debut in late 2023 or the first half of 2024.
