Launched in August 2019, the Kia Seltos had a great impact on the Indian automotive market and brought quick success for the Korean carmaker. However, with the launch of the new Creta, the Seltos did struggle and as per the rumours, the brand is now considering making changes to the Kia Seltos sunroof model. If reports are to be believed, a new updated Seltos will come with a panoramic sunroof in addition to the brand’s new logo. Read on to find more details about the car.
The main motive behind introducing the panoramic sunroof could be the rivals, as all the rivals of the Kia Seltos like the MG Hector, Hyundai Creta, or the Tata Harrier come with a panoramic sunroof. Apart from this, Kia might introduce its new logo in the updated Seltos, making it the first car in India with the all-new logo. Kia might also introduce a new variant for the Seltos as the competition is getting stronger, especially after the launch of the new Hyundai Creta.

If we talk about mechanical changes and powertrain options, Seltos will not receive any changes The car will come in three powertrain options- a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.4-litre GDi turbo petrol engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual transmission as standard with a 6-speed torque converter, a CVT or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
