The BGauss D15 electric scooter was recently introduced in the Indian market and is priced from Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the BGauss D15 bookings are open in India, the deliveries will begin only after June 2022. Here are all the details that you should know about this new electric scooter in India.
BGauss D15 Electric Scooter Variants
The BGauss D15 electric scooter is available in two variants – D15i and D15 Pro. While the D15i gets a lithium-ion battery, the D15 Pro on the other hand gets an additional valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery. While the BGauss D15 price starts from Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the BGauss D15 Pro price in India starts from Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Design and Features
The D15 boasts a retro-ish design dominated by a round headlight, elegant front fascia, and a full metal body. The scooter is undermined by a tubular steel chassis while the suspension setup comprises of a telescopic fork at the front and three-step adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear.
BGauss D15 Specs And Performance
This new electric scooter gets a hub-mounted 3.1kW PMSM motor. This engine develops a maximum torque output of 110Nm. Having said this, the scooter gets three riding modes – Eco, Sport, and Reverse. With a claimed top speed of 60 kmph in the Sport mode, this electric scooter can accelerate from 0-40kph in 7 sec. The BGauss D15 range on the other hand stands at 115km on a single charge.
