The production of the locally assembled 2021 Jeep Wrangler has commenced in Jeep’s Ranjangaon Plant. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler bookings are open and the vehicle will go on sale from 15th March 2021
Jeep India officially announced that the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler bookings have commenced in India. The brand will officially launch the Made In India Wrangler on 15th March 2021. This off-roading beast will be brought to India as CKD (Completely Knocked Unit) and will be then assembled here.
If we look back into the history of this car, the Jeep Wrangler has first launched in August 2019 in India within a price range of INR 63.94 lakh. However, the official prices of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler are set to be out on the launch day itself.

The all-new 2021 Jeep Wrangler was seen testing on Indian roads out-showing its sharp and edgy exterior details, also the Jeep Wrangler bookings are open now. It is in the news that the 2021 Jeep Wrangler will be seen with a newly-designed dashboard with an integrated 4C 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
As the 2021 model will be assembled in India it is expected to see a marginal drop in its price. This off-roading beauty the Jeep Wrangler will be assembled out of CKD kits at the Ranjangaon-based facility near Pune in Maharashtra.

The current model of the car gets power from its 2.0-litre high-power turbo petrol, which churns out 268 hp at 5250 rpm and a peak torque of 400 Nm at 3000 rpm. You will see an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard with the Jeep Wrangler. You will get a Selec-trac-time 4WD setup which works in tandem with sensors measuring traction slip.
If we talk about other plans of the brand, Jeep earlier made an announcement that the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee will be launched in India in 2022. The car will make its global debut later year. Also, Jeep is looking forward to making the Ranjangaon facility in India a manufacturing attraction for all right-hand drive markets of the world.
