2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire BS6 Facelift launched at INR 5.89 lakh

The 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire BS6 facelift has recently been introduced in our market, with price beginning from INR 5.89 lakh for the base LXi petrol variant and going up to INR 8.80 lakh for the top spec ZXI+ AGS model (ex-showroom, Delhi). The facelifted model highlights both cosmetic and mechanical changes. The price difference is between Rs 6,000 to Rs 22,000 more than the pre-facelift vehicle.

Beginning with the powertrain, the 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire BS6 Facelift comes only with a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder K12C Dual Jet petrol motor. The same engine is likewise accessible with the Baleno. This new motor produces 90hp (7hp more than the its predecessor). It is worth noting that unlike the unit in the Baleno, the Dual Jet motor present in the Dzire isn’t being offered with the Maruti’s SHVS, which helps keep the costs within proper limits. All things considered, the motor gets inert beginning stop tech, which will help amplify economy. Gearbox options consist of a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), with the former being offered with the K12C Dual Jet engine. The fuel efficiency figures for the Dzire facelift are appraised at 23.26 Kmpl for the MT and 24.12 Kmpl for the AMT version.

Coming to the interiors, the dashboard layout has not changed and the car now gets the Maruti Suzuki’s new SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Additionally, there’s new dual-tone upholstery and faux wood trim in addition to the auto-folding ORVMs in this facelift and a colour TFT screen for the MID and cruise control. AMT variants of the Dzire facelift get additional safety features in the form of Electronic Stability Programme and Hill Hold Assist offered as standard.
