Mahindra Alturas G4 BS6 has been teased ahead of its launch by the Indian car manufacturer. With this being said, it is expected that the car will be launched post the lock down due to the Cornavirus pandemic. Mahindra revealed the teaser image through its website.
The Alturas G4 BS6 will be powered by a 2.2-L 4 Cylinder diesel engine. The engine produces 178 bhp and 420 NM of peak torque in its current state of tune and the power figures are expected to remain unchanged in the BS6 format. The engine will be mated to a Mercedes-Benz sourced seven speed automatic transmission.
The exterior design, as per the teaser image revealed, will remain unchanged and it is expected that there will be no change in the feature list either. The company has commenced the booking of the BS6 Mahindra Alturas G4 for an amount of Rs 50,000. It is also worth noting that the company website has a sole, four-wheel-drive option for the booking which makes us believe that the car will be launched in a single four-wheel-drive variant.
The Mahindra Alturas G4 will be available in five colour options – napoli black, regal bluem new pearl white lake side brown and dsat silver. Customers can also pre-book the accessories such as the special kit, car fridge, seven-inch headrest touchscreen with built-in DVD player, mood lamps, mobile holder, blind spot mirror and much more through the website.
The Company is yet to reveal the official prices of the Mahindra Alturas G4. This seven seater SUV rivals against the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour amongst many others.
